The Dark Side of Nowhere

Hello! Its been a while since I've posted anything and I finally got around to finishing this piece.
This is "The Witch's Guardians".

TWG was super fun to do, especially all the water. Originally it was going to be a day scene with rainbow colored water and a clear blue sky with an island in the distance...but over time it became darker and the moon wanted to show up out of nowhere. Not sure if I prefer the long version or the short one...Now onto the next painting! Away!

A barrage of Randomness

 I didn't exactly know where I was going with this, but it was fun along the way :) I love making scritch scratchy drawings.

Today I decided to make a new environment, seeing as how they are lacking in my work these days. I hope you like it and can find some hidden fish!

 I am truly happy with how this turned out and I am planning on creating more environments soon!











Here is a piece that I created last week. This is the aviator Lame Lama. He has nothing to eat.

Hello! Its been about a week since I really drew anything because of so many fun family events going on, so I decided to do a really, sloppy quick doodle. Super duper sloppy! Anyway, the story is this interesting gal has just missed her bus, which actually saved her life! 

I've also noticed that I name the file of my sketches after whatever song is playing so in this one, it is called "Let's be Friends". Even though it has nothing to do with friends. Expect more random pieces of art :)

Another Challenge!

 Today was supposed to be Naga (or Lamia), but I decided to work on another painting. I have some new brushes that I had yet to use, so I tried those out. Its a little weird and I like it :)

Day Three was Slime Girl! Let's kick it off with a creepy little gal just waiting for her bus to arrive. :)

And to promptly each everyone on the bus....

Day two was Centaurs! This piece is called "Party Ponies!", even though she is a giraffe!

So for the last 30 Day Challenge, I only got to day 4 when I got distracted but now there is a new challenge ahead for me! It is the "Monster Girl Challenge" where each day you make a new monster girl. For Day One, it is a Harpy. I plan to give her a background and tweak a little bit more :)

30 DAY CHALLENGE GO!

Today I thought I'd give the "Self Portrait" challenge another go and instead create it in a less painterly style. Sharp edges and solid colors are a joy to work with.

Well I tried to do the 30 DAY CHALLENGE, but I got distracted. Instead, here is a new piece outside of that scope. Each year, the day before my birthday I create one last picture for the current age. However I ended up going over the time limit onto my actual birthday. So here is my half 22/23 picture! :D

 I may add some more of the 30 Day challenge if I get to it...


Day Number three is "Most Recent Dream". Apparently I've been drawing a lot lately cause I even dream about it. Squeak!

Day Number two is "Imaginary Friend".  This was my imaginary friend Denen. He's part of a bird race that guards the night sky and he made sure the monsters didn't get me in exchange for getting to read my books. Since I grew up, I thought it would be nice to put a grown up version of him there too!

Another 30 day challenge begins! Each day a new topic is made for the drawing.

 Day Number one is "Self Portrait". Let's see if I can keep up this time! I think this was on the 19th...
